General Insomnia Narcolepsy Restless Legs Snoring

The following list is by no means meant to be all-inclusive. It represents a listing of significant books in various areas of sleep that many have found to be informative and useful.

  • Utley, Marguerite Jones. Narcolepsy: A Funny Disorder That's No Laughing Matter, 1995.
This 166-page book is a comprehensive source of information on narcolepsy, written in layman's language, and includes the author's experiences with all the symptoms.
Dr. Allan Pack's review in the Dec. 1995 ASDA newsletter, "I would recommend that all patients with narcolepsy read the book since it is very informative. Moreover, sleep professionals -- physicians, nurses, technologists -- will benefit from the insights into the disorder that Ms. Utley cogently provides."
