Use HSA/FSA for CPAP savings!

Still have money in your Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account? Your time to use that money is drawing to a close. FSA funds must be used by Dec. 31 -- not far away. These accounts let you save money on health care, as they lower your taxable income -- so you spend less on taxes every year.

HSA funds will accumulate year over year and the funds do not have an expiration date. But FSA funds will not always carry over (although some employer plans extend the deadline until March 15 of next year). You must use it or lose it.

CPAP Equipment That’s HSA/FSA Applicable

Your HSA or FSA funds can be used to get any new CPAP supplies. This can be any item, small or large, including filters, tubing, humidifier chambers, chinstraps, headgear and replacement parts. Use your FSA/HSA card when you check out -- as simple as that.

Your CPAP cleaner is also FSA-eligible because keeping your CPAP clean is necessary. Cleaning the CPAP machine protects your health and helps to maintain your device. Replacing and cleaning your CPAP supplies regularly will prevent the buildup of viruses, bacteria and irritants such as dust, mold, and other allergens.

Use your FSA funds -- don’t lose them. Order CPAP supplies today!
