SleepQuest is currently seeking an experienced sales professional to produce sales and enhance customer relationships in the Walnut Creek, California market and surrounding areas.


•Be solely responsible for surpassing sales goals within assigned territory through consultative selling principles.

•Must demonstrate initiative, drive, independence, and take ownership for meeting and exceeding individual and territory business goals.

•Establishing relationships with targeted physicians, medical staff, referral coordinators, medical centers, small-group practices, solo practices and persuasively challenging the status quo habits of targeted customers relating to the diagnosis and treatment of sleep apnea.

•Adeptly explains features and benefits of company solutions. Delivering verbal and marketing information to identify appropriate patients, steps for diagnosis and treatment, and expertise in communicating health plan / insurance access for SleepQuest’s products and services.

•Understanding and addressing both business and medical oriented needs of healthcare professionals by engaging in a meaningful “show and tell” dialogue to determine underlying patient needs and how SleepQuest’s products and patient care process will improve the health and well-being of undiagnosed patients with sleep apnea.

•Experience and effectiveness in the daily utilization of published clinical reprints to regularly communicate the health benefits, risks, and chronic comorbid conditions associated with obstructive sleep apnea.

•Identifying key influencers, plan daily routes and achieve designated call expectations with a focus on top target customers – demonstrating expert knowledge of the competitive market, competition and individual customers.

•Demonstrating a passion and learning aptitude. Proactive in strengthening knowledge related to disease state, treatment options and healthcare trends.

•Collaborate and communicate with other teams to achieve business plan objectives and deliver stellar patient centric customer service.

•Responsible for working in tandem with the Sales Team and the Contracts Administrator to grow sales to the MSO’s, IPA’s, and Medical Groups, within the assigned territory.

•Responsible for effectively pulling thru new business from additional contracts with healthcare payors.

•Achieving sales success while maintaining a strong foundation of professionalism and integrity in a compliance driven environment.

•Entering post-call details into a proprietary reporting system on a daily basis.

•Efficiently managing a monthly promotional budget, including the timely preparation of monthly expense reports.

•Daily utilization of a proprietary CRM (customer relationship management) system to track and analyze sales activity and results.

Desired Skills and Experience/QUALIFICATIONS:

•3-5 years of sales experience with demonstrated results in exceeding sales quota and revenue expectations within a quota driven sales environment.

•Sales documentation of prior success required.

•Demonstrated knowledge of customer-service principles and processes.

•Knowledge of sleep apnea and durable medical equipment preferred, but not required.

•Healthcare experience required. Knowledge of health care industry, service delivery support, payor and supplier background desired.

•BA or BS degree or equivalent experience.

•Must reside within a major city centrally located within the assigned sales geography.

•Valid drivers license, an acceptable driving record, and dependable automobile transportation required.

•Ability to travel as required for attendance at client site meetings, trade shows, conventions, industry meetings as required.

•Experience working with Managed Care, MSO’s, IPA’s, and Medical Groups, within northern California preferred.

•Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills.

•Strong organizational and computer skills with MS Office and CRM experience.

This Sales position includes a competitive compensation package to include base salary, a monthly commission plan, and car allowance as well as a comprehensive benefits package to include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, paid time off and a 401(k) program.
