You wake-up with a dry throat and mouth after using your PAP device with a nasal cushion or nasal pillow mask. The humidifier is turned up all the way and you can breathe clearly through your nose.
A good fix for this problem would be to try a chinstrap. Sometimes at night when you hit REM sleep your muscles relax, causing your jaw to drop. A chinstrap can prevent that from happening and eliminate your dry mouth and throat in the morning.
If you find the chinstrap is not enough, you might want to consult with your Sleep Care Specialist about moving to a full face mask.
