SleepQuest is pleased to have participated once again in KCBS News Radio's Health etc. symposium held on Saturday, April 14, 2007 at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco. The keynote speaker of the event was former president, Bill Clinton, who spoke about the need to revamp the US healthcare system in order to contain costs and provide health insurance to the multitude of citizens who are currently uninsured.
This event brought to life the most timely health issues presented by expert panelists. For example, Dr. David Sparks addressed a standing room only crowd to discuss the importance of restful and restorative sleep as well as snoring and obstructive sleep apnea. He also discussed how poor sleep impacts health and can lead to other disorders such as heart disease, hypertension, and stroke.
