Overview:
This position works directly with patients, instructing them in the proper set-up for overnight, at-home sleep studies in our office. This position also dispenses therapeutic equipment (CPAP and BiLevel) and supplies for patients who are diagnosed with Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA). The candidate for this position must be bilingual in English and Cantonese. Training will take place for 3-4 months in our San Carlos facility before working in San Francisco.
Statistics reveal that:
- About 30 million people suffer from OSA.
- Sleep apnea is as common as diabetes and asthma.
- 24% of men 30 - 60 years of age suffer from OSA.
- 9% of women 30 - 60 years of age suffer from OSA.
- The majority of OSA sufferers remain undiagnosed and untreated.
The above statistics also point to the fact that treating sleep disorders has huge growth potential. We currently have offices in San Carlos, Fresno, Salinas and plan to expand throughout the western region.

Qualifications:
Since we are revolutionizing the way OSA is diagnosed and treated, no prior experience with sleep disorders is presumed, although a familiarity with Sleep Apnea and a healthcare environment dealing directly with patients is desirable. We have a sophisticated data architecture to manage, score, and track patients, studies, and equipment, so strong computer and data management skills are essential.

- Experience in a medical office environment
- Bilingual in English and Cantonese/Mandarin
- Customer service oriented work experience
- Knowledge of insurance benefits with various insurance companies
- Intermediate computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, billing software, Internet)
- Knowledge of Durable Medical Equipment a plus
