What is Fatigue?

Conventional view:

Fatigue typically results from the performance of repetitive activities for a sustained period. Assembly line work, monitoring a display screen, or driving a truck over long distances are tasks generally associated with fatigue.

Time on task is a strong variable in the development of fatigue as well as the non-stimulating or boring nature of the task. In addition, the development of fatigue is generally associated with a disinclination to continue performing the task.
