Support Groups

Support Groups Help You Deal with Sleep Apnea

Through interactions with others who share this diagnosis, people with sleep apnea and their families can provide peer support and can suggest coping mechanisms to each other so that the sense of isolation common to sleep apnea patients may be alleviated.

Once an individual is correctly diagnosed and undergoing treatment, it is important that they have support and encouragement to continue on their treatment plan. The national organizations listed below can provide additional information on specific sleep disorders, membership, local groups, and finding/starting a support group in your area.
